– Specific Media: The online ad network continues its European expansion with the opening of a Norway office: after launching in Denmark in March the company has hired Andrè Smedsrud to lead the Oslo office while Dagfinn Melberg joins to manage publisher services and Stein Ole Jensen comes on board as a sales executive. Three more Norweigan hires are planned.
— Brightroll: Bebo’s former global sales VP Mark Charkin has opened the London office of US video ad network Brightroll and is looking to expands its UK sales team. Offices are also being opened in Australia, Canada and Mexico. Charkin spent more than two years with Bebo before leaving in January and has since acted as a consultant for Endemol among others. — BSkyB: Sky has poached BBC marketer after seven years at the corporation Naomi Gilbney as its head of marketing and communications.She’s replaced by Nicky Doubglas who becomes a director of marketing at BBC Vision. From Marketing.
— Teletext: DMGT-owned Teletext has hired Mark Bloxham as its marketing director, from human resources company Adecco. He replaces Ash Makkar who joins the BBC as head of marketing for BBC2 and BBC4. Via Marketing Week.
