Eros To List Indian Subsidiary On BSE; Naresh Chandra To Be Chairman


Eros International Plc., the AIM, London-listed film producer and distributor, said it plans to list its Indian subsidiary on the Bombay Stock Exchange during the current fiscal. Eros International Media Ltd, the Indian subsidiary, recently hired former BCCL executive A.P. Parigi as CEO.

Enam, Kotak and RBS have been appointed as the managers for the upcoming IPO. Former diplomat Naresh Chandra, who is a non-executive director on the London firm’s board, will be named chairman (non-executive) of the Indian subsidiary’s board. Eros will not dilute more than 25% stake in the Indian entity.

Eros’ recent films include Kambakkth Ishq, Love Aaj Kal, Me Shivaji Raje Bhosale Boltoy (Marathi), Tera Mera Ki Rishta and Kandasamy (Tamil).
