— MapQuest: After a year working on MapQuest, Mark Law is leaving AOL (NYSE: TWX). Law placed the information on his LinkedIn page, but has not made any announcements as to his future, post-AOL plans.
— Telegent Systems: Samuel Sheng has been promoted to CEO of the company he co-founded. He had been Telegent’s CTO and executive Chairman of the Board. The other co-founder, Weijie Yun, will take Sheng’s place on the board and hold operational responsibility for the company.
— Rentrak: Thirty-year ad vet David Chemerow will be the audience-measurement firm’s COO and CFO. He will be replacing Mark L. Thoenes, who was the company’s CFO. Chemerow comes from Olympus Media, where he was the SVP & CFO, and is also the current non-executive Chairman of the Board of Playboy (NYSE: PLA) Enterprises.
