The Washington Post and Bloomberg News are launching a new syndication service Jan. 1, 2010 — the Washington Post (NYSE: WPO) News Service with Bloomberg News, which will provide daily content from the paper and the financial newswire to newspapers, website and other subs. The move follows by a day the news that the paper’s partnership with the Tribune Co.’s Los Angeles Times was dissolving. The LAT will become part of McClatchy-Tribune Information Services (MCT), a JV of McClatchy (NYSE: MNI) and Tribune. (Release after the jump.)
