Today, mobile games company Glu Mobile (NSDQ: GLUU) is losing another leader. In July, CEO Greg Ballard said he would step down once a replacement has been found, and according to a document filed with the SEC today, Jill Braff, Glu’s SVP of Global Publishing, said she will be leaving, effective Oct. 9.
Braff will become the President and CEO of an unnamed privately-held company, according to the document. Inquiries as to where Braff has landed have been sent to both Braff and the company. We’ll update when we know more. UPDATE: Braff tells us that she’s keeping the announcement to herself until she’s officially started at the new company. More to come…
While the company had struggled to keep pace as the trend moved from feature phones to smartphones, Glu started to turn things around, by achieving positive cash flow, a quarter sooner than it expected. The company also beat all of its revenue and earnings projections for the period, although expects losses to widen and revenues to fall in Q3 due to typically slower summers.
