BlackBerry Launches TiVo App A Year Late And Without Streaming Video

The BlackBerry TiVo (NSDQ: TIVO) app, which allows users to remotely schedule recordings of TV shows on their set-top box, is now available, reports Boy Genius.

Research In Motion originally announced the application slightly more than a year ago, as part of a number of applications that were designed to make the BlackBerry more appealing to consumers. The two companies said the app would be released in 2008, and that future versions were going to add the ability to play video.
