Virgin Media Cleared For Secondary London Share Listing

Virgin Media

Virgin Media (NSDQ: VMED) will this week start trading shares on the London Stock Exchange, completing a longstanding aim to complement its primary NASDAQ listing by housing shares somewhere closer to home.

VMED has no US interests but inherited a listing on the New York-based NASDAQ exchange from its predecessor NTL, meaning investor meetings often take place there. Subject to Financial Services Authority approval, VMED shares will trade on the LSE from this Thursday, but no new shares are being issued.

It’s a swift move from new CFO Eamonn O’Hare who joined from Tesco earlier this month. Release.
