German Regional Paper Taps Autonomy For Targeted Search, Adverts

Cambridge-based enterprise search giant Autonomy has sealed a deal to provide search and advertising services to the website of Weser Kurier, a regional paper based in Bremen, northern Germany.

Autonomy offers intuitive search services to blue chip corporates, law firms and government departments — but also has a growing portfolio of content clients, through deals with Reuters, AOL (NYSE: TWX), Bloomberg and the BBC. Weser Kurier‘s digital MD Jens Tittmann says he wants Autonomy to increase stickiness and click-through rates with customised news and adverts based on real-time profiling of readers. Release.
