Industry Moves: Apple Hires SVP And General Counsel From Intel; Sandi Isaacs Will Head Allied Red

– Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) has hired Bruce Sewell, former SVP and general counsel of Intel (NSDQ: INTC), to fill the position of SVP of Legal and Government Affairs and and General Counsel. Sewell will report to CEO Steve Jobs. Daniel Cooperman, who has served in these roles at Apple for the past two years, is retiring at the end of the month. At Intel, Sewell was responsible for leading all of Intel’s legal, corporate affairs and corporate social responsibility programs, managing attorneys and policy professionals around the world. — Sandi Isaacs (pictured), who previously was SVP of Paramount Digital Entertainment, will serve as the President of Allied Red, a new strategic brand licensing and representation company in New York City. The company will work wtih brands to reach audiences across many digital platforms, including interactive games, film, television, consumer products and mobile platforms. In addition to Isaacs, other executive hires include Laurie Windrow as VP of Licensing and Marc Berman as Senior Manager, Finance and Operations.
