ThirdAge, an online property geared toward Baby Boomers, has raised just over $1 million in funding, according to an SEC filing. Founded in 2007 1997 by Sharon Whitely and Pamela Louie, a pair of marketing and finance execs, the company produces lifestyle content at ThirdAge.com and www.menopause-online.com, as well as custom ad and sponsorship campaigns for brands. ThirdAge did not immediately respond to a request for more details on the funding.

The company partnered with JWT Worldwide in 2008 for the launch of JWT Boom, the ad agency’s Baby Boomer-focused communications division; together, the companies release market research on the 45 and older market, including data on their social media consumption.
