Ad Sales Platform Isocket Raises $2 Million

Isocket, which calls itself “the first commission-free ad platform,” has raised $2 million in a round of seed funding from a group of private investors and venture capital firms, including Draper Fisher Jurvetson, SoftTech VC, and Founders Fund Angel.

The Isocket ad sales platform is currently in private testing by several sites, including IndyMojo, AnswersTV, and TechCrunch. No word on when it will officially launch, although Isocket says that with the cash “we can ramp things up and get the product into more peoples hands, faster.” Isocket says that in addition to not charging commissions (it charges monthly fees), it distinguishes its service by improving the “direct sales process by making inventory easier to find, purchase and execute.” More in the company’s blog post announcing the funding.
