Pet Holdings Adds LovelyListing.com To Its Roster Of (Strange) Humor Sites

Lovelylisting.com site

Pet Holdings, the online media startup behind sites like icanhascheezburger.com (ICHC) and FAIL Blog, has acquired LovelyListing.com, a quirky site that pokes fun at pictures from residential real estate listings. (Like this house, that has a hot tub in the middle of an office, surrounded by chairs). Financial terms were not disclosed.

TechFlash reports that Pet Holdings has been growing; traffic to its group of about 15 sites has hit about 10 million unique monthly visitors. The company says its profitable; the business model is text and display ads. Pet Holdings raised $2.25 million (pdf) in late 2007 from a group of investors (including *InfoSpace* backers Rufus Lumry and John E. Cunningham IV).
