Industry Moves: Handmark Hires VP Of Games To Ramp Up Development

Handmark's VP of Games Jason Ford

Handmark, a mobile application developer, has hired Jason Ford as its VP of Games. In the newly created position, Ford will be responsible for ramping up the company’s games development and expand its presence in gaming globally. He will also oversee the company’s development teams, including Astraware, a UK-based games studio that Handmark acquired in January 2008.

Previously, Ford was at Namco Networks, where he was VP of Strategy and Planning, and prior to that, he served as the General Manager of Games for Sprint (NYSE: S). Ford will work at Handmark’s headquarters in Kansas City, Mo. Release.
