– Sport sells Front: Daily Sport publisher Sport Media Group has sold lads’ mag Front for just £87,500 to start-up Kane Limited, just 14 months after buying it for £265,000. SMG reveals that the title and its parent company Flip Media made a pre-tax (and pre-consultants’ fee) loss of £115,000 in the year to July 31. Citing internal figures, SMG claims Daily Sport circulation now averages nearly 85,000 a day. Release.

— NME iPhone app: Another day, another magazine brand launching an iPhone app: this time it’s IPC Media’s NME, which today puts its NME Radio on the app store, priced £0.59. The app streams music and allows user to click and buy tracks via iTunes.
