Earnings: WebMD’s Ad Revenue Jumps 18 Percent

WebMD (NSDQ: WBMD) continues to benefit from demand for advertising from pharmaceutical and consumer products companies, posting an overall revenue jump of 15 percent during the quarter. Ad revenue increased 18 percent. Net income, however, dropped, although that fall was attributable to the discontinuation of the company’s print directory business.
