Report: Apple Signs Three-Year iPhone Deal With China Unicom

After months of speculation, the official Shanghai Securities News is reporting that Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) has signed a three-year deal with China Unicom to sell the iPhone in China, Reuters reports. UPDATE: There’s conflicting reports as to whether this is true. Dow Jones (NYSE: NWS) Newswires reported a China Unicom spokesperson said they are still in discussions with Apple and have not reached an agreement, reports AppleInsider.
