Report: The Top 10 Advertisers In Mobile

The entertainment industry is currently spending more money on mobile advertising than any other segment, according to a report released today by Millennial Media, which examined its second-quarter data to generate a top 10 list.

While a couple of industry segments on the list are fairly predictable, like telecom and automotive, there’s some more surprising ones, as well, such as dating and armed forces. The full June report can be found here.

The top 10, excluding mobile apps, ringtones or downloads (which Millennial did not include.):

4. Dating
5. Retail
6. Consumer Packaged Goods
7. Automotive
8. Armed Forces
9. Education
10. Travel
