Over a year ago, we brought you a detailed look of “The House That Twitters Its Energy Use” — the home in the UK’s Isle of Wight, owned and set up by IBM’s “Master Inventor” Andy Stanford-Clark, which tweets its energy use in real time. Curious if Stanford-Clark, who runs IBM’s Pervasive and Advanced Messaging Technologies team in Hursley Park, turned off his lights or fountain today? Well, go check his twitter feed.
This week, the BBC posted a really nice video of Stanford-Clark’s Twitter-connected home (and cute dogs!). What I love is the fact that the house is such an old classic English house — Stanford-Clark cranks open one of the charming windows in one scene — but it’s using such a modern web tool.
