Deutsche Telekom Says It Is Not Trying To Sell UK Unit

image Rumors have been rampant over the fate of struggling T-Mobile UK, with its parent company Deutsche Telekom (NYSE: DT) reportedly shopping the unit around and entertaining offers from carriers, including France Telecom’s Orange.

An unnamed executive told Dow Jones Newswires: “There are always talks in the industry, but we aren’t in negotiations to sell T-Mobile UK but want to make its operations more profitable.”
