Today in Cloud

I would love to question the accuracy of Cassatt’s survey results finding that respondents are less likely than last year to be able to justify powering down idle servers. But, alas, I cannot. It’s probably connected to the hesitancy about cloud computing that I wrote about last week, as well as to the misguided concern that renewable energy initiatives are too costly in this economy. When times are tough, many seem to cling to the status quo for stability rather strive to improve their situations.
