Industry Moves Roundup: Radio Today, BCCL, Indian Express, Yahoo!

Anil Srivatsa, COO at The India Today Group’s Meow FM, has left the radio station he launched in 2007, reports AFaqs. Meow markets itself as a talk radio station targetted at women.

Senior journalist Gautam Adhikari stepped down as editorial pages editor at The Times of India. He is moving to the US to spend time with his family and will focus on writing books.

P.S. Saminathan has stepped down as the chairman of scam-hit Pyramid Saimira Theatre Ltd. Saminathan, who was barred by Sebi from participating in the market, will continue as managing director.

Business Bhaskar editor K. Yatish Rajawat has been named managing editor by the Bhaskar Group.

Rajiv Jaitly, who left as president, marketing and ad sales, at DB Corp, has joined The Indian Express Ltd as president, marketing, reports e4m.

Ashish Chadha, who quit as associate publisher at India Today Group, has joined Yahoo! (NSDQ: YHOO) India as head of audience marketing, reports e4m.

    Like as Ajay Vidyasagar, who stepped down at Star India as president, content and new media, in March, has been named chief operating officer at Sun TV Network Ltd, one of India’s largest listed media companies. We had reported earlier about speculation that Vidyasagar was joining the Chennai-based broadcaster.
