The FedEx guy brought me something unexpected this morning, the Lenovo IdeaPad Y450 notebook. I have just gotten it unboxed and set up for a quick look so here are some quick photos. The Y450 is a thin notebook configured as follows:
- Screen: 14-inch, 1366×768
- Processor: Intel T4200 2 GHz
- RAM: 3 GB DDR3
- HDD: 250 GB
- DVD/RW (Dual-layer)
- OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
- Multi-touch trackpad
- Price as configured: $619
I haven’t had time to do anything with it yet so these photos will have to do for now. The only quick impressions I have so far- Lenovo has loaded this up with junkware. I’m not sure I like the trackpad yet, but then I am very picky about those.
