Bellevue, Wash.-based Motricity has announced another senior executive appointment, tapping Jim Ryan for the role of Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer. Ryan’s most notable recent experience was as vice president of consumer data services for AT&T (NYSE: T) Mobility, where he helped grow the business from $250 million to over $4 billion in three years. He left there two years ago and subsequently became CEO of Mobile Campus.
For its part, Motricity has had a high turn-over of executives recently. It appointed Allyn Hebner as Chief Financial Officer in April, lost its Senior Vice President of Sales, George Fraser, in March, and appointed 4 execs including its COO in January. Last year it sued a senior executive for leaving.
