LTE services will bring in more than $70 billion in global revenues by 2014, according to Juniper Research. By comparison, the analysts predicted that WiMax would bring in $15 billion by that time. Juniper predicts that LTE will be successful in the same markets WiMax will be: North America, Western Europe, the Far East and China, which will account for 90 percent of deployments in five years.
