Visible Technologies, which helps companies track what people are saying about them online, has raised $6 million in a third round of funding from existing investors, according to an SEC filing. No specific details on what the new funds will be used for, although TechFlash quotes a Visible Technologies executive as saying the money will be used to “support continued growth.” Visible Technologies will now have raised more than $18 million since its start in 2003. It competes against BuzzLogic and Nielsen’s BuzzMetrics services, which both also track online chatter for clients.
