Microsoft BlueTrack Peripherals Work Anywhere

MS Mobile Mouse 6000Microsoft may not be the first company you think of when computer peripherals come to mind, but it has always made some pretty good ones. The company doesn’t usually do hardware, but in the keyboard and mouse department, it has a solid track record. The new BlueTrack Technology that is going into the two new mice Redmond just announced looks to up its game.

BlueTrack is the tracking technology built into the Wireless Mouse 5000 and the Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 that Microsoft claims will work on more surfaces than both optical and laser mice. If you have used either a laser or optical mouse and encountered a surface that wouldn’t track accurately, then the new BlueTrack mice may be worth a look. I’m in the market for a good mobile mouse, and that 6000 looks pretty good to me. The BlueTrack mice and a couple of new wireless keyboards should be available in June.
