Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has denied that it has stopped investing in its online information sharing service Ovi Share, despite the closure of its flagship Seattle office, and despite a company spokesperson confirming earlier this month that the site would only be maintained as is.
Nokia’s executive vice president of services Tero Ojanperä, speaking at the J.P. Morgan Global Technology, Media and Telecom Conference in Boston on Tuesday, said however, that it had not stopped investing in Ovi Share, and that the handset maker was planning on integrating it with Nokia phones and some Web sites, according to IDG News, which covered the event.
