StatShot: What’s Being BitTorrented? Testosterone

Break out the Creatine and your old Soloflex — high-action and even higher octane rev up TorrentFreak’s list of the Most Pirated Movies on BitTorrent this week. Fast and Furious holds on to the top spot while a shirtless Jason Statham keeps his pirates Cranked. Not enough manliness for you? Then how about some Nazi killin’? Valkyrie storms back up the chart to round out the top three.

But if there is one force in the online universe that can fight back the onslaught of greased-up muscles, it’s Oprah. The one-woman multimedia empire continues to generate buzz on Trendrr’s list of the Top Twittered TV Shows. Not too far behind is American Idol, which is nearing the end of this season’s run.

As expected, Lost** returned to form last week, and achieved it’s best showing ever on Twitter with almost 42,000 related Tweets on Wednesday. Were they all mourning the loss of (Spoiler Alert!) Faraday?

NOTE:
TorrentFreak data is based on http downloads of .torrent files from various BitTorrent sites. The data is collected by TorrentFreak and is for informational and educational reference only. Currently both DVDrips, DVD Screeners and R5 rips are counted. The “back” designation means that the title was in the list before and has reappeared, possibly in a new format.

** Lost gets separated out because the word “lost” is rather common. Trendrr believes it has stripped out the references to keys and wallets, but we still give the Oceanic Six & Co. their own graph just to be safe.
