Airborne Technology Ventures (the parent company of Airborne Mobile) has appointed entrepreneur Skuli Mogensen to its Board of Directors, with Mogensen investing $500,000 in the company. The funding, an add-on to the $2 million invested by iNovia Capital in January, will be used to advance mobile media projects. Last year Airborne conducted a management buyout from its Japanese parent company, fired 27 of its 100 staff and gave up developing games and applications in a bid to reach profitability.
