Hispanic entertainment and media company Batanga has raised its fourth round of funding. Though the company didn’t disclose the amount, VentureWire pegs it at $2.5 million, citing a regulatory filing. Previous backers Tudor Ventures and H.I.G. Ventures led the round, with participation from existing angel investors; Batanga has raised about $40 million in total, including a $30 million round in 2007. Miami-based Batanga will use the new money to expand HispanoClick, the Hispanic-focused ad network it acquired last year. Release.
