– Audience Science: Former Financial Times head of sales Stuart Colman has been appointed MD of European operations for behavioural targeting advertiser AudienceScience. He replaces Jeremy Mason who returns to work at the company’s Seattle HQ. Formerly known as Revenue Science, the company has behavioural ad deals with the New York times, Reuters.com and The Guardian, among others. Release.
— Zodiak Entertainment: TV production and distribution company Zodiak Entertainment has appointed Mitzi Berberi head of legal and business affairs for the company’s entertainment distribution division. He will be responsible for the legal side of Zodiak’s M&A and programme sales activities. The company was formed at the end of last year by DeAgostini Group.
— Smartfundit.com: Online finance marketplace Smartfundit.com has made Matt Mills its new chief marketing officer. Mills launched marketing platform intimis.com and has run interactive marketing campaigns for Barclays, Esure and Nissan. Last December Smartfundit received £3.5 million in VC funding in a round led by Baytech Venture Capital and the company says it has provided access to more than £1 billion in finance for more than 4,000 businesses to date.
— Mobitv.com: California-based Mobitv.com has promoted its SVP in charge of product, programming and marketing Ray DeRenzo to the role of chief marketing officer. The company shut down its UK operations in 2007 but opened a research centre in Sweden.
