AdMob and iPhone App discoverability: Mobile Ad Network AdMob announced it is launching an iPhone Download Exchange that will allow 1,000 of the iPhone applications that uses its ad network to help customers discover their applications. The developers, who decide to participate, will exchange ad inventory to help promote each other’s apps and ease discoverability issues within the App store.

Handango offers app catalog to others: Handango, which manages an mobile application store for a handful of smartphone platforms, said today that it is launching the “App Store Accelerator,” to help carriers, device manufacturers and retailers, to launch their own app stores, leveraging Handango’s 10-year old catalog. The company will also help with merchandising, promotion; billing functionality and some customer support. The company did not provide details on the financial arrangement.

GoTV Networks launches social network tool: GoTV Networks, a mobile TV network, is launching the LiveFromYou mobile app, which helps users upload pictures, videos and words to a widget on their Facebook or MySpace page. The app is currently available for the iPhone, but will soon be available for Windows Mobile and Google’s Android. It will also launch on Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) and AT&T (NYSE: T) feature phones. MMS capability will be available for Sprint (NYSE: S) and T-Mobile feature phone users.
