The consultation on Lord Carter’s interim Digital Britain report closed on March 12. Now the Department for Culture, Media & Sport has published over 200 responses from media companies up and down the land.   1. It's fast looking like Lord Carter won't be able to reach the consensus he was hoping for with regards to tackling P2P. Even some of those that would normally support the Digital Rights Agency seem to oppose it. While on the one hand this shows how difficult it will be to find a conclusion in such a short space of time, on the other it means we might see the enforcement of a legislative approach instead. Things don’t look good.
