Got a PC and a BlackBerry along with music in your Windows Media Player? RIM just made it far easier to get those tunes from PC to handset, thanks to version 2.0 of their BlackBerry Media Sync software. The prior version worked just fine with Apple’s iTunes music library, but now you can pull music from both if you use iTunes and WMP. Tunes that can’t be played due to DRM constraints won’t get moved, so you don’t waste any precious storage space on your ‘Berry; such files will show in the “Files Not Synchronized” area of Media Sync. BlackBerry Media Sync also automatically imports the album art from WMP.
You’ll need Microsoft Windows XP SP2+ or Vista and Windows Media Player 10 or better for BlackBerry Media Sync.
