Orange France is planning a strong line-up of Android devices — it already has the HTC G1/dream and has plans to launch the HTC Hero handset, as well as Android devices from Sony (NYSE: SNE) Ericsson (NSDQ: ERIC), Motorola (NYSE: MOT), LG (SEO: 066570) and Samsung reports Unwired View, citing French cite Mobinaute. Orange reportedly said that the Android devices are cheaper than other handsets, and that Google (NSDQ: GOOG) is generous with sharing revenue from the Android Store. There’s no indication as to whether this interest in Android devices will spill over into other telcos run by Orange around the world.
