Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC plans to roll out more than three new Android-based phones in 2009, with a second generation version of the G1 to roll out in the second quarter, HTC CEO Peter Chou said at an investment forum in Tapei today, reports Dow Jones (NYSE: NWS) (via easybourse). Chou also said that the G1 exceeded its sales target of 1 million units, though he did not say by how much.
