MySpace announced a number of new appointments today, which we covered on our sister site paidContent.org. As part of that, we learned that Bjorn Laurin has been asked to take on an extended role as Director of MySpace Mobile International. In an internal memo obtained by paidContent, MySpace CEO Chris DeWolfe wrote that the appointment is directly tied to the fact that they believe that more than half of all visits to MySpace will come from portable devices over the next few years.” In his new role, Bjorn “will carry his vast experience from Europe and translate it to support all International territories.”
