AT&T's Ralph de la Vega Thinks Company Can Replicate iPhone's Success 'Many Times Over'

imageThe iPhone is maybe the most successful use case in mobile today because the hardware, software, wireless network and application community works together so effortlessly, but it also created additional fragmentation in the market. That was the subject of one of the more compelling keynotes given at Mobile World Congress two weeks ago. And, surprisingly, it was given by Ralph de la Vega, president and chief executive officer of AT&T (NYSE: T) Mobility, the sole U.S. beneficiary of the iPhone. Today, de la Vega was on his soapbox again in an interview with Telephony magazine.
