Mobile Content Bits: Guardian Mobile Relaunch; Bebo Open Mobile In Canada; France 24 App Climbs

Guardian relaunches: The Guardian is overhauling its mobile site, with the update set to roll out next month. According to the newspaper, the site will work across all major handheld web browsers, including the iPhone and the Blackberry and will be supported by advertising, sponsorship and cross-platform campaigns in partnership with mobile ad specialists 4th Screen Advertising, as well as Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Ad Words on every page.

Bebo Open Mobile goes to Canda: Social network Bebo has rolled out its Bebo Open Mobile program that allows its partners to better integrate the social networking site for their users to Canadian operators. Bell Mobility, Fido, Rogers Wireless and Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) Canada have already implemented its Messaging product, meaning customers can get Bebo alerts and updates on their phones through the 2326 (BEBO) short code. They can also pdate their Bebo profiles, participate in special offers, send virtual goods and interact with friends through the code. In addition, Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile Canada have integrated its mobile internet platform.
