Digital music service Slacker Radio has picked up a $5 million bridge round of financing, according to VentureWire, citing a regulatory filing. Existing backers Sevin Rosen Funds, Rho Ventures, Centennial Ventures, Mission Ventures and Austin Ventures all participated in the latest round.
Slacker has raised $58.5 million in funding since its inception in early 2007, launching both a subscription-based and ad-supported online radio service, and even a $200 WiFi-enabled player called the G2 (pictured). The company also released iPhone and Blackberry applications this month.
