Montreal-based Trellia Networks, which builds software to help companies securely manage their mobile workforce, has raised $2 million from existing investors Skypoint Capital and BDR Capital. The funding will allow them to continue to grow in Canada, where it works with Bell Mobility, as well as expand into the U.S. Trellia helps to manage employees, who are increasingly on the go, working from both traditional wired networks, but also a variety of wireless networks, such as WiFi, 3G and 4G.
