After Glu Mobile (NSDQ: GLUU) admitted that it was too cautious and did not jump on the iPhone bandwagon quickly enough, the San Mateo, Calif.-based company unveiled its North American first-quarter game lineup today. Going forward, it said that about a third of its resources will be being used for new platforms, including iPhone, Google’s Android and Nokia’s N-Gage.
The company named eight titles coming out during the period, and specified when they will become available. In some cases, it also said what platforms the titles would launch on. For example, Age of Empires III (pictured) will launch on the N-Gage in February; Build-a-lot will launch on Android in February, and on J2ME, BREW, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile in April; Brain Genius Deluxe is available now on Android. Titles that will launch on the iPhone/iPod Touch include: Build-a-lot, Cooking Star and Brain Genius Deluxe. Other titles also coming to an undisclosed platform include: Superman/Batman: Heroes United in January; Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rescue in February; Watchmen in March; and Monsters vs. Aliens in March.
