— EMI: The company has made two appointments for global roles in its new music division: Pietro Paravella and Matthew Tilley will be serving as SVPs. They previously worked in international marketing; Paravella is based in London, while Tilley is based in New York.
— Initiative: CurrentTV’s Ezra Cooperstein is heading to IPG media-buying shop Initiative, the company’s new media unit, as VP and director of Innovations. As VP of development and programming at Current TV, Cooperstein oversaw projects like the expansion of the animated series SuperNews from shorts into a half-hour show. He spent more than four years with the cable and online network.
