White-label online video service Fliqz has picked up $6 million in a third round of funding. Triangle Peak Partners led the round, with participation from previous investor Mohr Davidow Ventures (MDV). CEO Benjamin Wayne told NewTeeVee the company had raised $12 million in funding since its launch in 2006.
Emeryville, Calif.-based Fliqz targets mid-sized companies in need of online video services; it shifted away from consumer-facing video sharing and storage after getting its second round of funding in 2007. The company says more than 35,000 publishers use its video platform, and plans to use the new money to beef up its sales team for an international expansion. Release.
