It’s not often I get something fairly correct when thinking about future mobile technology, so I’m going to bask in this news for all of 60 seconds. Qualcomm is demonstrating the Android platform running on their Snapdragon platform. I figured this was a good combo due to Android’s web-centric environment and Qualcomm’s power-efficiency and connectivity abilities.
Their demo show off Android at WVGA res, or 800×480, but we already know that Qualcomm’s chipset can handle higher resolutions than that. Engadget offers the above pic and more of the demo that looks like a science project gone bad at the moment. More to follow as I’m scheduled to meet with the Qualcomm folks. Wow… those 60-seconds went by fast… ;)
