UK pay TV giant Sky is readying plans to offer Sky Bet as a mobile service, which will be an extension of the companies existing online, interactive TV and telephone betting services. The service is set to launch later this month. BSkyB (NYSE: BSY) (which owns Sky and Sky Bet) is partnering with mkodo to roll out the service reports Mobile Entertainment — mkodo already provides managed services to BBC, Turner Broadcasting and Rank Interactive (Blue Square). Back in September Sky signed with mfuse to run the service — that appears to have been called off mFuse are developing the Java version of the site and mKodo the WAP version.
