Industry Moves: Former eBay Exec Doug Jeffries Joins Palm As CFO

Palm (NSDQ: PALM) has appointed Douglas C. Jeffries, the former chief accounting officer at eBay (NSDQ: EBAY), as CFO, replacing Andy Brown, who is transitioning out of the role by January. Brown said, in a release, that he is leaving to pursue other interests, and that “Palm’s finance organization is well-positioned to support the company’s strategic and financial objectives, and I am leaving the many responsibilities of the CFO role in exceptionally capable hands.” Jeffries will assume the role of SVP and CFO effective Jan. 7. In addition to his role as chief accounting officer at eBay, Jeffries has held roles at GenCorp, Red Herring Communications and Cardinal Health. Release.

so – the new CEO quietly undoes EVERYTHING Meg Whitman did! OOPs – didn't see that whole CraigsList thing coming? AND – she's now running for office in CA.

I think that eBay is going down. I feel that a competition is rising and eBay also offers not a great deals for sellers.
