World Sports Network, a network of football sites out of China, has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Valhalla Investments. The company, based in Shanghai, has two sites: an English-language one at wsn.com and Chinese at cn.wsn.com. The sites are focused towards the Asian markets, though the coverage is global, and WSN will use the funding to further develop its content and initiate coverage of additional sports leagues such as the NBA. More details in release.
