Rave Wireless, which recently relocated to Framingham, Mass. from New York, confirmed today it has raised a fourth round of funding worth $7 million. PEHub reported that investors include Bain Capital Ventures, Sigma Partners and RRE Ventures. To date, the company has raised a total of $42 million, including an $18 million round last year that was led by Trilogy Equity Partners. A spokeswoman said Rave has expanded its market focus and today provides mobile safety products to not only higher education institutions, but also to companies.
