Qualcomm Abandons Its 4G Effort

The battle for 4G supremacy is now down to two technologies. That leaves LTE and WiMAX as the only remaining competitors for 4G network technology. Qualcomm is planning to put its 4G resources into a rival technology, Long Term Evolution, which has earned the interest of most carriers and infrastructure vendors around the globe.
